What counts as a conversion?

Each URL you convert via the API or MCP server counts as one conversion. Failed requests (4xx/5xx) don't count.

Do free tier conversions reset monthly?

Yes. Free tier resets on the 1st of each month. Paid plans also reset monthly on your billing date.

Can I use the MCP server with a paid API key?

Yes. Set FETCHMD_API_KEY in your Claude Desktop config and your MCP calls count against your paid quota.

What happens when I hit my limit?

The API returns HTTP 429 with a clear message and your reset date. The web converter at fetchmd.dev always works free.
